Player ratings: Bazunu impresses on dour night

The Republic of Ireland fell to a tame 1-0 defeat against the Netherlands in Amsterdam tonight, as a disappointing Euro 2024 qualification campaign ended with a whimper. Here's how we rated the players.

Gavin Bazunu 8 - The goalkeeper started off by showing his ability to pass the ball out, and that helped Ireland get around the Dutch press. Bazunu also made a string of excellent saves that kept Ireland fighting for at least a point at the Johan Cruijff ArenA.
