Manchester United player ratings vs Galatasaray as Bruno Fernandes good and Andre Onana poor

Manchester United's Champions League hopes are hanging by a thread after they drew with Galatasaray 3-3 in Istanbul.

United got off to the perfect start with a stunning goal from Alejandro Garnacho in the 10th minute. The 19-year-old celebrated by recreating Cristiano Ronaldo's 'calma' routine, winding up the Galatasaray fans in the process.

United's brilliant start continued, with captain Bruno Fernandes topping Garnacho's strike with an even better one of his own from distance. But Galatasaray hit back through a Hakim Ziyech free-kick before the half-hour mark.

Scott McTominay extended United's lead after good work from Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the second half and Erik ten Hag introduced Kobbie Mainoo and Anthony Martial from the bench shortly afterwards.

But Andre Onana dropped a howler to allow Ziyech to score again after a free-kick to ensure a nervy finish and a wonder goal from Aktürkoglu left United bottom of the group and on the verge of elimination. Here are how the players rated...

Hesitant before he carelessly conceded to his former Ajax teammate Hakim Ziyech and then dropped a clanger for the second. Too easily beaten for the third goal. 2
