Philippe Clement facing Rangers dressing room mutiny as dictatorship sparks feeling of deja vu - Hotline

The Scottish Premiership season is just days away - and that is bringing panic to the Rangers support before the kick off against Hearts.

A winless pre-season campaign and the latest defeat to Birmingham City has some Ibrox diehards dreading the big kick-off - with Philippe Clement now finding himself in the firing line. Jimmy Mac, Glasgow is among the concerned punters as he posed serious questions over the future of Clement. He said: "I never felt Clement was the man for Rangers and sadly I'm being proven correct. Clement has lost the dressing room and has thrown Todd Cantwell under the bus.

"We all saw Clement's dictatorship attitude at Parkhead towards Cantwell and had his knife out for Cantwell. John Lundstram, Borna Barisic, Connor Goldson and James Tavernier have all left or are wanting to leave. Throw in him with sending the hugely promising Johnly Yfeko on a full season loan to Exeter City with an option to buy which is completely wrong. Clement has lost all respect from the senior players and Monaco has repeated itself at Rangers."

Scott Gowers, Edinburgh shared the same thought - and is already pitching next manager candidates. He said: "It's clear that the players in the Rangers dressing room don't trust the manager and many want out. I would want to leave too if my manager basically described me as deadwood. The way Clement said all players had their price and publicly stated only Jack Butland was worth his place indicates he knows his time is up at Rangers.

"Dessers wants to stay because nobody will pay the wages Rangers are giving him and Sam Lammers won't get away as nobody will pay the hefty wages Rangers pay him. Cantwell is stuck with us as no kindergarten will take such a cry baby never mind any
