Pep Guardiola 'monitoring Chelsea full-back' and other Man City transfer rumours

Manchester City are reportedly weighing up an approach for Chelsea full-back Ian Maatsen.

According to 90min, Pep Guardiola's side are monitoring Maatsen's current contract situation ahead of making a move for him in the future. Currently, the 21-year-old left-back has just one year remaining on his deal at Stamford Bridge.

It is claimed Chelsea are keen for Maatsen to sign a contract extension but so far they have hit difficulties trying to finalise this. However, it is thought Maatsen rejected this approach from the Lancashire club adding further mystery to the saga. Mauricio Pochettino is a fan of the full-back and is thought to be trying hard to keep him.

Corinthians value Moscardo at €30m (£25.8m) and City are thought to be monitoring his progress closely alongside Arsenal and Barcelona. Chelsea are thought to hold an advantage because the player has the same agent as their recent signings Angelo Gabriel and Deivid
