Medway Area Sunday League round-up (06/09/26)

Cliffe Woods Colts started the new Medway Area Sunday League season in winning style.

Ashley Poppy scored a hat-trick with an Adam Bush strike completing a 4-1 Premier Division victory over Sittingbourne Valley, who replied through Callum Thomas.

Alfie Montague, Leyton Davis and Hafeez Irawo netted in Caspian Tigers’ 3-2 win against Wigmore, for whom Billy Dunbar and John Botting were their marksmen.

In Division 1, Connor Linton (2), Laylan Kettle and Michael Odriscoll found the net in Cliffe Woods Colts A’s 4-1 victory over FC Catalans, Jordan Gower with their reply.

Jack Downey, Harvey Edkins, James Lundie and Harley Tutt (2) were all on target in Wigmore Wanderers’ 5-2 win against Thamesview. Morgan Arnott replied with both goals for Thamesview.

In Division 2, Max Morgan, Terry Phillips, Aaron Lorentson and Luis Dos Santos netted in Inter Rainham’s 4-3 win against Norton Sports, whose goals came from Liam Ogle and Matt Byott (2).

Sam Wilson scored all four goals in Rainham 84’s 4-1 success over Riverside Sunday.

Goals from Morgan Speirs and Ryan Cripps were not enough for River as they lost 5-2 to AEI Sports. Mo Kamara (2), Will Sims (2) and Mason Mclean did the damage.

Harry Stew, Tom Stew and Jay Rogers were on target for Woodcoombe Sports & Social as they shaded Rochester Eagles 3-2, despite goals from Rich McKee and Clayton Selway for the visitors.

In Division 3, Kent Marina had Aaron Jeffries and Harrison Kinslow to thank for their 2-0 victory over Hempstead United.

Chris Jackson netted for The Stumble in their 5-1 loss to Medway United East, with Jayden Woolman (3), Swayze Whale and Luke Small taking the points.
