Manchester United ‘reject bid’ for Fred and more transfer rumours

Manchester United have reportedly turned down an undisclosed transfer offer from Galatasaray for Fred.

It’s thought the Reds want around £20m for the Brazilian, who could be one of a number of senior players to leave Old Trafford this summer. A report from 90min claims Galatasaray have tabled a bid below that valuation.

It adds his price tag is also proving a sticking point for Fulham, who MEN Sport revealed are interested in the Brazilian. Cottagers boss Marco Silva was seen speaking to Fred following United’s final day 2-1 win over his club.

Fred has also been linked with the likes of Nottingham Forest and Roma while clubs from Saudi Arabia are naturally said to be tracking the situation. The 30-year-old started just 23 of his 56 matches last season and could be one the players used to generate funds for other arrivals, namely a striker.

Hojlund publicly addressed United’s interest last month, saying: "It is a huge club, so I must have done something right if it’s rumoured they want me. We have to see what happens.

"As you see and hear, I imagine a lot could happen to quite a few strikers this summer, as many
