Manchester United 'considering move for Jadon Sancho replacement' and more transfer rumours
Manchester United are reportedly looking into the possible acquisition of Athletic Club winger Nico Williams.
The 21-year-old has already grabbed four assists in as many La Liga matches this season having tallied nine goals and six assists in 43 outings last term. Williams can play on both wings, although is more commonly used on the right.
The nine-time capped Spain star - who played four games at the World Cup - scored in his country’s 7-1 Euro 2024 qualifying demolition of Georgia on Friday to double his international account.
Fichajes is linking United with an interest in Williams, who worked his way up through the ranks of Athletic. It says Liverpool, and Barcelona are also keeping track of his progress ahead of a possible move next summer.

United are currently facing a headache in the right winger department. Jadon Sancho is at odds with Erik ten Hag over training levels while the club announced Antony’s return from the international break is being delayed amid allegations of abuse towards women against him, all of which he denies.
Meanwhile, Fijaches also claims that Inter are spying a cut-price deal for Donny van de Beek in January. The midfielder has not left United this summer despite links with several clubs.
Galatasaray and Fenerbahce have penned interests with the Turkish window remaining open until Friday, albeit no offers have yet been tabled.
If he remains at Old Trafford beyond the deadline then the report claims Inter will target Van de Beek with a £17m offer, £23m less than what United paid Ajax for him in 2020. Van de Beek has not played competitively since January when suffering a season-ending knee injury that required surgery.
