New captain, double injury boost, Arsenal win - Man City's perfect Premier League return

Manchester City have won four from four in the Premier League so far this season as well as picking up the UEFA Super Cup for the first time.

When the action resumes, City will look to build on their two-point lead at the top of the Premier League with a trip to in-form West Ham. Nottingham Forest are up next at the Etihad, hoping to build on their win at Chelsea, and last season's draw with City at the City Ground.

Then follows a trip to Wolves, before Arsenal await at the Emirates in the final game before the October international break.

Inbetween each Premier League game are two Champions League group games - at home against Red Star and away to RB Leipzig - with a Carabao Cup trip to Newcastle in the middle of the next seven games.

Kyle Walker left for international duty telling reporters a new deal was coming, but sounded less positive over the progress over a fresh contract after scoring for England at the weekend. Wrapping up Walker's contract would put an end to his uncertain summer once and for all, and allow all parties to look forward.
