Man United have secret transfer advantage to sign surprise Euro 2024 star

Manchester United are interested in Switzerland international Dan Ndoye, according to the player's agent, Fahd Adamson.

Ndoye, 23, started all five matches for the Swiss at the European Championships, including their quarter-final exit to England. The winger scored his first international goal during the group stages against the hosts Germany, which looked like being the winner before a 92nd-minute equaliser from Niclas Fullkrug.

The Bologna forward has since been linked with United, with reports in Italy and Switzerland claiming the club have enquired about Ndoye. The player's advisor, Adamson, has acknowledged the rumours and named United while welcoming the interest.

"It is good that Manchester United are interested in Dan," Adamson is quoted as saying by The Sun, "and it is somehow logical as well. United belong to Ineos, and Dan has already played for the other Ineos-owned clubs in Nice and Lausanne.

"He received countless WhatsApp messages from English clubs after the quarter-final against England. Let's see what emerges from them. We must discuss Dan's future with him and his family. We need to weigh things up well, to prevent him making the wrong career move."

As the agent highlighted, his client had been at Ineos-owned clubs until two years ago. The Nyon native was in the Lasanne-Sport youth academy when Sir Jim Ratcliffe's petrochemicals company completed a takeover of the Swiss side.
