Man City's next six Premier League fixtures compared with Liverpool FC and Arsenal in title race

Manchester City moved back to within a point of the Premier League summit with a 1-0 win over Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday evening.

Phill Foden netted the only goal of the game, scoring in the first half, to secure a second consecutive 1-0 triumph for Pep Guardiola's side. City are now just a point behind Liverpool, who face Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday, having played 26 games each.

Furthermore, the victory, for the time being at least, has moved City four points clear of third-placed Arsenal, who face Newcastle United at 8pm on Saturday evening. Should the Gunners record a sixth successive league triumph, they will reduce the gap between themselves and the Blues back to a point.

With the title race continuing to ebb and flow, MEN Sport has had a close look at City's next six league matches in comparison to those of their immediate rivals.

Verdict: City's next six matches could determine the outcome of the title race. Facing neighbours Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal in their next four league matches, there is no room for error.

City will head into the clash with United as favourites next Sunday but may not occupy the same tag for the trip to Anfield seven days later. In amongst the clashes with Arsenal and Liverpool, the tussles with Brighton & Hove Albion, which will be postponed if either the Seagulls or City make it into the FA Cup quarter-finals, and Aston Villa will be far from easy.

*Fixtures are subject to change.
