Luis Palma proving Celtic transfer instincts are better than Spanish suitors' who 'regret' passing on Honduran

Luis Palma's Celtic form is causing some serious non-buyer's regret in Spain.

The Honduran is settling into life in Glasgow following his £3.5million summer switch from Aris Thessaloniki. The Honduran has hit the goal trail, including a crisp striker in the 2-2 Champions League draw with Atletico Madrid last month. That's in addition to strikes against Motherwell, Kilmarnock and Ross County as the wideman starts ti repay the fee the Premiership champions shelled out for him.

Palma had no shortage of suitors over the summer. He was initially linked with city rivals Rangers. The man himself claimed that he picked Parkhead over Ibrox after being made aware if Gers' interest. That was disputed somewhat by previous Light Blues boss Michael Beale, who insisted the club weren't willing to do a deal to sign the 23-year-old. Another interested party was Levante. The La Liga 2 side reportedly turned down the chance to sign Palma in the summer. Deportes TVC claim he was offered to The Frogs "on a silver platter."

Now they report that the Valencia-based outfit wish they had taken the plunge, and are now looking to even younger Honduran talent in a bid to make amends.

They've taken teenage talent Marco Antonio Reyes on trial, The 15-year-old will train with their B team in a bid to win a move as Levante look to get ahead of the curve to sign the new Palma, having missed out on the existing one.
