LIVE: Police tape off street as forensics search scene after serious incident - latest updates
A street has been taped off by police responding to a serious incident in north Manchester.
Officers are in attendance on William Lister Close, in Newton Heath, this morning (April 22).
It's understood that police were first called out to the scene late on Monday night.
Police have been in attendance throughout the morning and remain in the area.
An image from the scene shows part of the street has been taped off.
At least one Greater Manchester Police vehicle is in attendance with a scene being maintained.
Further details on the nature of the incident are yet to be confirmed.
GMP has been approached for comment. Updates will be posted in this blog.
