Drivers are facing queues on two motorways following a crash.

Two lanes of traffic were closed on the M62 eastbound between junction 18 for Simister Island and junction 19 for Heywood and Middleton.

Both lanes have since reopened, but queues are tailing back past junction 16 of the M60 clockwise at Pendlebury, according to the Inrix traffic monitoring system.

"Congestion to M60 J16 (Pendlebury). All lanes have been re-opened."
