LIVE: Police tape off Salford street with detectives at the scene - latest updates
A cordon is in place on a residential street in Salford after a man was taken to hospital following a 'fight'.
Detectives have been seen in attendance on Rodney Street, near Islington Park, this morning (May 10).
The road has been closed off with yellow police tape used at the scene.
Images appear to show a number of houses are inside the cordon.
Greater Manchester Police says it was called out to reports of an altercation on nearby Claremont Way in the early hours of the morning.
Rodney Street has been taped off as part of the investigation, the M.E.N. understands.
A GMP spokesperson said: "At around 6.50am this morning, officers were called to an altercation on Clermont Way, Salford.
"One male was taken to hospital with minor injuries and enquiries are ongoing."
