LIVE: M62 traffic building as lanes closed after crash - latest updates

Queues are building on a stretch of the M62 this morning after a crash.

According to traffic alert service Inrix, two lanes are currently blocked on the eastbound carriageway. The lanes are blocked between junction 11 for Birchwood and junction 12 for the M60 and Eccles Interchange.

Congestion is currently back to junction 10. Travel time through the area is around 25 minutes.

Lanes three and four are currently blocked. Motorway cameras show traffic building up to the scene of the incident.
