LIVE: Cordon in place after 'serious crash' - latest updates

A busy road in Oldham has been taped off this morning after a 'serious crash.'

A cordon is currently in place on Glodwick Road near to Harveys Workwear and Glodwick Primary Care Centre.

Locals have reported that there has been a 'serious road traffic collision.'

The road has been taped off between Nugget Street and Moorhey Street with officers working at the scene.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) have been approached for further information about the incident.

Due to a Police incident, Police have blocked Glodwick Road from before Nugget Street to after Moorhey Street. There is no access currently to Nugget Street. We are still open, you just can't access the car park.
