LIVE: Police respond to 'stabbing' outside London Starbucks as public told to avoid area - latest updates
A Starbucks in London has been cordoned off this afternoon after a knifeman attacked someone outside the café, the Mirror reports.
People are being urged to avoid the area as police manage the scene in Streatham Hill in south London.
One witness wrote on social media: "There’s been a stabbing in Streatham and that’s like the first time I’ve seen blood just everywhere like that."

Another eyewitness took to X to say: "Avoid Streatham hill as it’s been cornered off outside Starbucks - a person has been stabbed.
"Police are at the scene and diverting away. I’m not sure on the wellbeing of the poor person - but praying for a recovery. Not sure if the attacker has been caught so please be safe."

MyLondon have shared an update from the Metropolitan Police.
A spokesperson for the Met said: "At around 1pm on Monday, October 6, officers attended Streatham Hill, following reports of a stabbing.
"A man, aged in his 20s, was treated at the scene for a stab wound.
"He was taken to hospital, where his injuries were assessed as non-life-changing and non-life-threatening.
"Police are making enquiries, and no arrests have been made at this stage."
An eye-witness has said police are diverting people away from the scene.
