LIVE: Trains STOPPED across Greater Manchester amid two incidents - latest updates
Commuters are facing problems across Greater Manchester's railway network amid two separate incidents.
An emergency on the line between Manchester and Newton-le-Willows means services have been stopped this morning (October 1).
The incident is affecting Northern, TransPennine Express and Transport for Wales services running to and from Victoria and Oxford Road.
Disruption is expected to last throughout rush hour, with services being cancelled or delayed.

A National Rail spokesperson said: "All lines are closed between Manchester Victoria / Manchester Oxford Road and Newton-le-Willows whilst the emergency services deal with an incident.
"Trains travelling between these stations may be delayed, cancelled or revised. Disruption is expected until 10:00."
Meanwhile, overrunning engineering works between Manchester Piccadilly and Sheffield are causing disruption to Northern, TransPennine Express and East Midlands Railway services between the two cities.
A spokesperson for TransPennine Express posted on X: "Due to engineering works not being finished on time between Manchester Piccadilly and Sheffield, all lines are blocked.
"Train services running to and from these stations may be delayed or diverted. Disruption is expected until 08:00 01/10."
