LIVE: Queues on TWO motorways after crash on M62 - latest updates
Drivers are facing delays on two motorways near Greater Manchester following a crash.
One lane of traffic has been closed on the M62 eastbound close to junction 11 at Birchwood, near Warrington, this morning (October 2).
Traffic is tailing back towards junction eight at Burtonwood, according to Google traffic data.
There are also queues on the M6 southbound approaching junction 21A for the M62, with queues backing up past junction 22 at Winwick.

A post from the Inrix traffic monitoring service said: "Queueing traffic and one lane closed due to accident on M62 Eastbound after J11 A574 Birchwood Way (Birchwood). Lane four (of four)."
