LIVE: All traffic stopped due to police incident on M67 - updates
All traffic has been stopped this evening on the M67 near Tameside due to an ongoing police incident.
Emergency services were at the scene on the westbound carriageway between J4 for Broadbottom and J3 for Hyde.
Highways Traffic Officers were in attendance managing traffic. A closure was in place with all traffic being held.
Traffic returned to normal at around 10.15pm.
An update from live traffic service Inrix reads: "All traffic temporarily held due to accident on M67 Westbound between J4 A57 (Broadbottom / Mottram) and J3 A627 Clark Way (Hyde)."

All lanes have reopened and traffic is clearing.

All traffic is currently being held near the junction for Hyde this evening.

The incident on the M67 was first reported at around 9.30pm and delays are building as a result.
