Police have taped off an area in Manchester city centre with an investigation underway.
Officers are in attendance on Back Piccadilly and Spear Street, between Piccadilly Gardens and the Northern Quarter.
A number of officers are manning a cordon this morning (November 7).
It's understood police first attended the area last night.

Images shared with the Manchester Evening News showed officers at the scene at around 8pm yesterday, with sections taped off at Back Piccadilly and Spear Street.
Detectives were seen in attendance on Thursday night.
Greater Manchester Police has been approached for further information.
The incident comes as the Christmas markets open today, including at nearby Piccadilly Gardens.
