A main road in Rochdale has been taped off this afternoon amid reports of an ongoing police incident.

An air ambulance was scrambled to the scene along with paramedics and police, to the Rochdale Bypass (A664), with the road currently taped off in both directions.

Officers remain at the scene, along with ambulances and incident response units. A large HGV has been pictured within the cordon.
