A main road in Bolton has been closed off this morning amid reports of a crash.

A stretch of Crompton Way in the Tonge Moor area is currently shut.

According to AA maps, it is closed in both directions from Sunnymead Avenue to Green Way.

Police are reportedly on the scene this morning, with locals in the area reporting to have to spotted a crash.
