Kevin Owens is one of the best all-round performers in WWE history, such is his unbelievable ability in the ring and on the mic, as well as his general comedic talents.

Prior to entering WWE and NXT in 2014, Owens had enormous success on the independent scene, notably with Ring of Honor alongside his real-life best friend Sami Zayn. Since moving to WWE, that success has only continued, with numerous titles and a huge WrestleMania main event with Stone Cold Steve Austin to his name.

Triple H’s ascension to Head of Creative and strong relationship with Owens has seen him return to his “Prizefighter” gimmick that served him so well in the past. It is expected that KO will play a major role on WWE television in the coming months and years.

The real-life Kevin Steen was born and raised in Quebec, Canada and is of French-Canadian and Irish descent. As a result, he grew up speaking French.

Incredibly given his unbelievable promo skills and command of the English language, he only began to learn at the age of 11 by watching Raw and mimicking things he heard from wrestlers and JR on commentary.

Kevin began training at the age of 14 with wrestling legend Terry Taylor and had his first match just two years later on his 16th birthday (May 7th, 2000). So, despite being just 38, he is already a 22-year veteran of the industry.
