Paul Heyman: 10 things you didn't know about the legendary WWE manager

Paul Heyman is arguably the greatest manager in the history of WWE and professional wrestling as a whole, with a career stretching over more three decades.

Heyman famously was the owner and booker for ECW from 1995 until its closure in 2001, and responsible for delivering some of the best TV wrestling of the era as well as displaying incredible talents such as Chris Jericho, Rey Mysterio and Rob Van Dam. Previously he had worked in the NWA and WCW.

Heyman’s WWE career has seen him assume a number of on and off-screen roles including those of Smackdown and ECW General Manager in the mid-2000s. Of course, he is most famous for his management of superstars Brock Lesnar, CM Punk and currently Roman Reigns.

Heyman serves as the special counsel or “wiseman” to the reigning Undisputed WWE Universal Champion and The Bloodline faction. His legendary status in the industry has only added to their success. His verbal putdown of Logan Paul on the “season premiere” of Smackdown was a testament to this.
