Karrion Kross: 10 things you didn't know about the ex-WWE NXT Champion

Karrion Kross has quickly become of the biggest superstars in WWE since his return to the company in August of this year.

Kross had previously been a dominant presence on the NXT brand, capturing the NXT Championship on two separate occasions prior to his move to Raw. On the main roster, he was stripped of his manager and wife Scarlett Bordeaux and much of his presentation, which had been a crucial component to his success.

Kross’ absence from WWE did not last too long, just over nine months in which time he returned to the independent scene where he had been so successful at the start of his career. His strong relationship with now-WWE Head of Creative Triple H paved the way for his and Scarlett’s big return to the company.

He is now set to face Drew McIntyre in a Strap match at Extreme Rules this Saturday in what should be an intensely physical encounter.

The real-life Kevin Kesar has previously revealed that he is of Central American and Puerto Rican descent, with his grandfather being from San Juan and some of his wider family still living there.
