Huge Man City 115 charges update emerges with new hearing detail and 'start date'

Manchester City's hearing on 115 alleged breaches of Premier League rules is reportedly set to start next month, with the outcome set to be known in the new year.

The independent commission was expected to start in November, but The Times claim sources with knowledge of the case have claimed it is due to start in mid-to-late September. The hearing, scheduled to last ten weeks, will see the commission members deliver their verdict at the start of 2025.

The verdict for City’s separate legal case brought against the Premier League’s associated party transactions (APT) rules is set to be revealed in the next two weeks. With that said, this would allow the 115 charges hearing to take place earlier than scheduled.

The alleged rule breaches include not providing accurate financial information for nine different seasons along with not providing full details of former manager Roberto Mancini's pay over the four seasons, between 2009 and 2013. In addition, not providing full details of players' renumeration, including of former midfielder Yaya Toure, over a period of six years (from 2010-11 to 2015-16).

The Times adds City have also been charged with not co-operating with an investigation and handing over documents as required over five seasons from 2018-19 to 2022-23.

Sky has slashed the price of its Sky Sports, Sky Stream, Sky TV and Netflix bundle in an unbeatable new deal that saves £216 and includes 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL and more.
