Harry Kane could bring three things that Manchester United don't have

Since Cristiano Ronaldo left in November, Manchester United have been desperate to improve their attack ahead of the new season. Harry Kane is an elite goal scorer, with 24 goals in 32 matches so far this season this would almost guarantee goals for United.

A striker who will gamble with defenders in the box is exactly what United need and creating space for teammates is exactly what Kane will bring.

Tottenham Hotspur are currently fifth in the Premier League, six points behind United. But the gap could tighten if Tottenham win their match against the Reds at home on Thursday.

Kane is a world-class striker, and this signing would improve the team overall. But he is yet to win any team trophy and after United won the Carabao Cup recently under Ten Hag this could be something to tempt Kane to make the move.

Tottenham have not won any silverware in years and with Kane not yet winning a trophy for his country, only coming close, he will be chasing silver as he gets older. About to turn 30, the question is how long Kane does have left at his peak, and of course he will want to add some trophies to his belt before his inevitable retirement. But the likelihood of winning any silverware while playing for Tottenham is slim.

With United already having some exceptional goalscorers like Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford, Kane's partnership with Heung-Min Son has already shown what he can achieve - in both goals and assists - with high-quality partners alongside him. But with players capable of excellent set-piece delivery already within the United squad, Kane could give them a potency in those situations that they are currently sorely lacking.
