Three Manchester United players have made Harry Kane's transfer decision easier

It was clear last Thursday evening in north London that the thought of seeing Harry Kane at Old Trafford next season is already imprinted on the minds of Manchester United's supporters.

The contest had not even reached half-time and the travelling contingent were already singing: "Harry Kane, we'll see you in June." The Tottenham Hotspur striker is United manager Erik ten Hag's top target ahead of the summer transfer window as he aims to strengthen his pool of attacking options.

The England captain has established himself as one of the best strikers on the planet over the last few years and he would add the guarantee of goals to Ten Hag's armoury. But just as he demonstrated in Spurs' unlikely comeback at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last week, he is also a creator, capable of dropping deep, turning on the ball and playing a killer pass to unlock defences.

He is a complete forward who would bring an array of different qualities to Old Trafford that no other out-and-out striker currently at the club possesses. His precise passing from deep areas would no doubt bring even more out of the likes of Marcus Rashford and Antony, who would still be tasked with supporting Kane from the wide areas.

On the flip side, however, questions could well be asked about who would do the supplying for Kane. Rashford, as devastating as he has been in front of goal himself this season, only has five league assists to his name this term, while Antony has a paltry tally of just one. As a caveat, however, that has been impacted by the lack of a reliable No.9 between them this season.
