Grading Sheffield Wednesday's loan signings as Darren Moore eyes strong end to League One season

A year into the job and Darren Moore has still yet to spend a penny in the transfer market. The Sheffield Wednesday manager has only been able to sign free agents and loan players in the past two windows.

Despite their well-publicised transfer restrictions, Moore has revived Wednesday's fortunes and assembled a competitive League One squad. His Owls team occupy seventh spot, a point outside of the play-offs going into the final eight matches. Some of Moore's loan signings have been big successes. Others have flopped.

Theo Corbeanu and Lewis Wing departed in the January transfer window after mixed spells, with Jordan Storey, Harlee Dean and Tyreece John-Jules joining to bolster their numbers. Yorkshire Live has taken a closer look at the seven loan players on their books and how they have fared this season.

Although Peacock-Farrell has his critics, the 25-year-old has recorded 14 shut-outs. He is just one off equalling the club-record for clean sheets in a regular league season.

Moore has not ruled out trying to bring Peacock-Farrell back to Hillsborough next year. Much could hinge on what division the Owls are playing in.
