'Not at level best' - Sheffield Wednesday boss Darren Moore's Bolton Wanderers claim after draw

Darren Moore felt Sheffield Wednesday created enough chances to win two football matches against a Bolton Wanderers side which he felt were not at their best in the draw against the Owls.

Wanderers went behind after the break when the Owls took the lead through Harlee Dean's header from Barry Bannan's corner came off the post and Jordan Storey was on hand to tap home.

But Bolton equalised before full-time when Aaron Morley's corner was only half cleared and MJ Williams fires home through a crowded penalty area to ensure Wanderers would get a share of the spoils in a 1-1 draw.

Speaking after the encounter, Moore believes his side were architects of their own downfall by not taking the chances they created against a Bolton side they felt were not at their best.

And ultimately, he felt his side dropped two points at the Unviersity of Bolton Stadium.

He told YorkshireLive: "We created enough chances to win two football matches but we didn’t take them and that’s cost us. We shouldn’t have allowed that to happen, we should have put the game to bed.

"If we keep creating chances like that, I believe we have got players in the team that can score goals.

"Today I am a little bit perplexed how we didn't finish off those chances as they were good chances.

"Credit to Bolton. They stayed in the game. It only takes a second to score as you saw right at the end.

"I thought it was a dominant display from start to finish. This is a tough place to come. They dominate the ball but we took the game to them. We could have used the ball better at times but we did enough to win and that is the disappointing thing.

"It is two points dropped.
