'Difficult' - Ex-Crystal Palace striker's verdict on Bolton's equaliser vs Sheffield Wednesday

Sheffield Wednesday boss Darren Moore will be disappointed with the manner of the goal Bolton Wanderers scored against the Owls after setting his team up to not concede like that.

That's the view of former Crystal Palace striker Clinton Morrison.

Wanderers went behind after the break when the Owls took the lead through Harlee Dean's header from Barry Bannan's corner came off the post and Jordan Storey was on hand to tap home.

But Bolton equalised before full-time when Aaron Morley's corner was only half cleared and MJ Williams fired home through a crowded penalty area to ensure Wanderers would get a share of the spoils.

Wanderers now sit 10th in the table after the draw after Portsmouth suffered defeat to Cheltenham Town, while Wednesday remain in the top six but only on goal difference along with Sunderland and Wycombe Wanderers.

The goal Wanderers scored came after Morley's delivery went to Lee Gregory at the back post, but the ball deflected off the Owls man and fell kindly for Williams to bury his first goal for the club.

And speaking as a pundit on the EFL highlights show on Quest, Morrison felt Owls boss Moore, a former defender, will be disappointed with the way his side were pegged back on level terms by Wanderers.

He said: "Conceding from set pieces, Darren Moore was a brilliant defender and he'll have his team set up, him and Jamie Smith, not to concede goals like this.

"It's difficult because Lee Gregory doesn't see the flight of it because he doesn't think it's coming over and it hits him and they concede from it.

"He's going to be disappointed with that, Darren Moore, for sure."
