Galatasaray name travelling squad to face Manchester United in the Champions League

Galatasaray travel to Manchester United without Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech for their Champions League group stage clash on Tuesday night.

The Turkish giants had hoped Ziyech was going to recover from the injury which has kept him out of the last two Super Lig matches but the 'minor' complaint has been deemed bad enough to stop him from travelling. After joining on loan from Stamford Bridge, Ziyech has scored once and grabbed an assist in just three appearances.

Undoubtedly, the 30-year-old will have been hoping to reunite with United manager Erik ten Hag after the pair worked together at Ajax but alas this will not be possible. There are going to be several familiar faces in the squad though.

Take a look at the full squad below:

Goalkeepers: Fernando Muslera, Gunay Guvenc

Midfielders: Kerem Akturkoglu, Kerem Demirbay, Tanguy Ndombele, Sergio Oliveira, Mateus Tete, Lucas Torreira, Baris Alper Yilmaz.

Forwards: Cedric Bakambu, Mauro Icardi, Dries Mertens, Wilfried Zaha.

The Reds have been buoyed by the news of Kobbie Mainoo taking part in training on the eve of the Galatasaray match, but it is unclear if he will be fit enough to play a part. Meanwhile, Ten Hag
