Victor Lindelof availability outlined as Galatasaray punished for incidents vs Manchester United

Manchester United ended their match with Brentford with just three fit defenders on the pitch but are set to welcome back a number of others this weekend against Sheffield United.

Sergio Reguilon is nearing a return while Raphael Varane has been spotted in training. Victor Lindelof had gone off with a complaint against Brentford but played for Sweden during the international break.

As his nation’s captain, he was a vocal voice in the aftermath of the horrendous attacks in Brussels prior to Belgium's abandoned Euro 2024 qualifier with Sweden on Monday that saw two Swedish nationals murdered. His availability for the trip to Sheffield has been outlined by Erik ten Hag.

Victor Lindelof is available to play for United against Sheffield United four days after two Sweden fans were killed in Brussels.

The match was abandoned with the game deadlocked at 1-1 and Uefa confirmed the half-time result will stand as the final score.
