Galatasaray star sends message to Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana

Galatasaray star Davinson Sanchez sent a message to Andre Onana after Manchester United's victory over Brentford on Saturday.

The Reds secured a dramatic win at Old Trafford thanks to two late goals from Scott McTominay. The Scot came off the bench in the 87th minute and bagged two stoppage-time goals to claim all three points for Erik ten Hag's men.

United were staring down the barrel of a third consecutive defeat prior to McTominay's introduction. A disappointing Premier League loss to Crystal Palace was followed by defeat to Galatasaray in the Champions League.

Sanchez played a key role in the Turkish outfit's victory, but that didn't stop him from messaging Onana after United's win over Brentford. Onana took to Instagram after the win to celebrate the three points, with Sanchez replying: "Big brother," followed by a clapping hands emoji.

The pair will meet again in the Champions League when United travel to Galatasaray next month. United have a mountain to climb if they are to qualify from Group A, having lost both of their opening games.

Ten Hag's side were beaten 4-3 by Bayern Munich in their first European outing of the season, with Casemiro's late double making the scoreline look a little more respectable after what was a pretty dismal showing from United. Next up for the Reds in Europe's elite club competition is a double-header with Danish side FC Copenhagen, with defeat in either game potentially scuppering their chances of making it through to the knockout stages of the competition.
