Fashion Sakala ignites Rangers transfer theories as cryptic social media move fuels exit speculation

There's been talk of Saudi Arabian rejection – but now Rangers fans are wondering whether Fashion Sakala has dropped an Ibrox exit clue.

The Zambian has been a regular in pre-season for Michael Beale ahead of this weekend's Premiership opener away at Kilmarnock, but that hasn't stopped departure lounge chatter running free. Saudi Pro League club Al-Fayha are believed to have been knocked back in their pursuit of the forward but some transfer clue hunters believe a hint has been dropped.

Taking to Instagram, Sakala posted a photo of him waving while wearing Ibrox colours, prompting one Rangers fan to ask 'is he saying goodbye?' Other supporters have spotted the post, another commenting 'was thinking the same' and one fan was along the same lines with 'Sakala away then.' Talk has also centred around Sakala's ability to thrive within Beale's revamped squad, as one called him a 'likeable, great wee guy’.

Well-wishes will also be in full supply from one punter, who said 'If Fashion Sakala is away he goes with my best wishes... he gave his all, never hid, never gave less than 100%’.

Beale said on Sakala after Saturday's 2-2 friendly draw with Hoffenheim: “There’s nothing on Fashion at the moment. There’s a bit of noise around a few of the players and that’s natural because of how many we’ve brought in. As soon as there’s something to say on that we will."
