Fans spot same blunder as Gemma Atkinson surprises emotional birthday boy Gorka Marquez before leaving again

Fans couldn't help but point out a blunder as Gemma Atkinson was seen surprising her fiance Gorka Marquez for his birthday. The Hits Radio host pulled out all the stops a day early for her man as he was forced to leave home again for work.

The Strictly Come Dancing star turns 33 on Monday (September 4) but due to being away working on the upcoming series of the hits BBC One dance show, he celebrated early with Gemma and their two children - Mia and Thiago.

Gork actually had to leave the family home and head to London where Strictly rehearsals were taking place just days after son Thiago, or Tio for short, made his grand entrance on July 17. He has, however, been making the trip home during the time he has off in order to spend quality time together as a family of four.

And over the weekend, he got to spend some time with his wife-to-be and their brood and Gemma wanted to make it extra special due to his birthday. Taking to Instagram, the former Hollyoaks and Emmerdale star shared pictures of the pair and their two children beaming for the camera.

They posed in the kitchen of their Greater Manchester home where Gemma had surprised her dancer beau with a delicious-looking cake, which appeared to be Biscoff flavoured, between them as well as some cards and a present wrapped in pink unicorn paper.

"It isn’t until tomorrow, but you’ll be back in rehearsals so we celebrated early!" Gemma typed alongside the post as she shared the photos she took with her 1.9 million followers. "Happy (almost) Birthday @gorka_marquez It’s funny the only Birthday of yours we’ve actually spent together was 2017 when we were both rehearsing."
