Michelle Keegan shows evidence of morning after night after sporting new do in home city at exciting birthday bash

Michelle Keegan has shown evidence that she had a good night after being seen sporting a new do in her home city. The actress was back in Manchester on Wednesday night (September 20) as Brassic celebrated its fifth birthday.

Michelle, who hails from Stockport and is married to former The Only Way is Essex star Mark Wright, plays Erin in the show. It follows the lives of Vinnie - played by Joe Gilgun - and his group of friends in the fictional Lancashire town of Hawley, with scenes filmed across the North West.

Earlier this week, the 36-year-old gave a glimpse of how she was spending her first day back on the set of Brassic. Taking to her Instagram Story, Michelle shared a video of a field with some people in coats and stood under umbrellas in the distance. Michelle appeared to be taking cover as the rain lashed down with the grey clouds showing no sign of disappearing.

"We're back baby!" she typed alongside the clip which was shared with her millions of followers. She then confirmed: "BRASSIC season 6!!" But the weather continued Tuesday (September 19) as Michelle shared a video to her Instagram Story. She could be seen ready to get to work with her character's trademark crimped hair look and sport-inspired attire.

She could be seen laying back on a sofa or bed as she wrote: "Waiting for the rain to stop, in Manchester, so we can start... Never gonna happen." But on Wednesday evening, the cast were able to put the umbrellas away as they headed to The Big Brassic Birthday Bash at venue 53Two near Deansgate in Manchester.
