Gemma Atkinson branded 'breath of fresh air' as she discusses struggle with her boobs before surgery

Gemma Atkinson fans have described her as a 'breath of fresh air' as she opened up about 'hating' the way her breasts looked before she had surgery. The Bury-born radio and TV star shared a snippet from her new podcast 'Overshare' on Instagram, where she discussed not being happy with the way her boobs used to look.

Gemma, who is engaged to Strictly Come Dancing star Gorka Marquez, has previously admitted to having a breast enlargement when she was younger. And the first episode of her new podcast sees the mum bravely discussing her body after losing weight.

She said: "I had naturally big boobs growing up, not massive but a full bust. And I lost a lot of weight very quickly, from just not eating correctly and doing just cardio and nothing else. It was very unhealthy.

"And my boobs just disappeared but I had a lot of skin, so I hated the way they looked. And in a bra, they looked fine but it would be the whole kind of, if ever I was with a guy the light had to be off because I didn't want them to see."
