Michelle Keegan declares 'we're back' as she excites fans after leaving them saying 'I'll never get over'

Michelle Keegan has declared 'we're back' as she got back to work after a summer of fun - including a sun-soaked holiday in Italy with her husband Mark Wright and an epic housewarming as they threw a festival-themed bash to mark completing renovations on their dream home.

But this week it was back to the day job for Michelle as the 36-year-old gave a glimpse of how she was spending her first day back on the set of Brassic. Taking to her Instagram Story, the actress shared a video of a field with some people in coats and stood under umbrellas in the distance.

Michelle appeared to be taking cover as the rain lashed down with the grey clouds showing no sign of disappearing. "We're back baby!" she typed alongside the clip which was shared with her millions of followers. She then confirmed: "BRASSIC season 6!!"

But it appears the weather was causing problems on Tuesday (September 19) as Michelle shared a video to her Instagram Story. She could be seen ready to get to work with her character's trademark crimped hair look and sport-inspired attire. She could be seen laying back on a sofa or bed as she wrote: "Waiting for the rain to stop, in Manchester, so we can start... Never gonna happen."

Work on the new series has begun ahead of series five returning to Sky this month. Last week, Michelle shared a poster advertising the upcoming run to her main Instagram grid and informed her followers: "Together they’re legends. New season of Brassic coming soon. 28th September @skytv #brassic."
