Erik Ten Hag shuts down Jadon Sancho question as bristling Man United boss ends talk of saga at frosty press conference

Erik Ten Hag insists he's said everything he can about the bubbling row with Manchester United star Jadon Sancho.

It's the war of words that has permeated through Old Trafford in recent weeks, with the Dutch boss fighting more than a few fires behind the scenes in Manchester. On the pitch, it hasn't been sparkling either with a defeat to Ange Postecoglou's Tottenham starting the chain of events that saw two consecutive 3-1 losses to Arsenal and Brighton compound Ten Hag's misery. But with Sancho the two have been at loggerheads after the coach banished the England international from United's training.

A divide, according to reports, has emerged in the United changing room over the row with Borussia Dortmund said to be keen on signing the 23-year-old after the Red Devils recruited the winger from the Bundesliga side in 2021. But Ten Hag, who was quizzed again on the ongoing situation with Sancho frozen out after what he described as 'poor performance in training' was not keen to be drawn in to more debate on the debacle.

He said: "Many of you ask me this so often, these questions, and I have said everything. I said everything," before being pressed on how long the saga can continue, adding: "I have said everything."

Reports suggest the United boss wants an apology, with Sancho ordered to train with the club's youth academy and some claims even touting that the England star is banned from eating with his team mates. Reports in Germany claim Dortmund would have reservations due to Sancho being said to have a lack of sleep from playing too many video games.
