Erik ten Hag's frustration with Manchester United star grows in moments missed vs Copenhagen

Manchester United got off the mark in their Champions League group with a dramatic 1-0 win over FC Copenhagen on Tuesday.

Erik ten Hag's side came away the victors on an emotional evening at Old Trafford in which United paid their respects to Sir Bobby Charlton, who passed away on Saturday. Harry Maguire scored the only goal of the game on 72 minutes, heading in Christian Eriksen's pinpoint cross from close range.

United had plenty of chances to extend their lead but instead looked like throwing it away when Copenhagen were awarded a late penalty. Jordan Larsson, son of Henrik, stepped up but saw his effort well saved by Andre Onana to lift the Reds off the foot of their group.

The Copenhagen fans were also keen to pay their respects to an icon not only in Manchester but worldwide, joining in with the chants of 'There's only one Bobby Charlton' before unfurling a banner that read: "Passion is what separates the good from the great. Rest in peace Sir Bobby Charlton."

It was a lovely gesture from the travelling fans, who were impeccably silent when called upon and played their part in an excellent night of football at Old Trafford.
