How Andre Onana and Harry Maguire have reacted to Manchester United heroics ahead of Man City clash

Neither Harry Maguire nor Andre Onana are satisfied with Tuesday's Champions League heroics with both looking to make a similar impact on the Manchester derby.

Manchester United welcome Manchester City to Old Trafford for the 191st edition of the clash, having won their last three matches in all competitions. Erik ten Hag's side got the ball rolling in Europe during the week, beating FC Copenhagen 1-0.

Maguire scored the only goal of the game with a close-range header, but Onana was the hero after saving Jordan Larsson's added-time penalty. The pair have had their own struggles at United but lapped up the praise after full-time.

Ten Hag was happy to see both players enjoying themselves but insists neither are growing complacent after getting in the good books.

“But you need such achievements to get a strong belief and when you then cope right with such moments, and that belief in what you are building, then you can [get] even more progress," Ten Hag told MUTV when asked about his two players.

"And I think top footballers have such attitudes, that they are not satisfied because satisfaction is going to laziness. No, they are hungry and they go into the next game and they want to do even better.”
