Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting 'agrees to Manchester United transfer' and other rumours
Bayern Munich striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting has reportedly agreed to join Manchester United on loan until the end of the season.
United are on the lookout for a striker to bolster their attacking options after a dismal season in front of goal. In the Premier League, the Reds have scored a measily 22 goals with the club's current top goalscorer being defensive midfielder Scott McTominay.
MEN Sport understands United will be operating with Financial Fair Play in mind this winter meaning big money deals are unlikely. Therefore, like last season, dipping into the loan market may be necessary to solve their striker woes.

According to Bild, Erik ten Hag has wasted no time and targeted 34-year-old Choupo-Moting. The Cameroon international is no stranger to the Premier League having represented Stoke City in the top flight but since his spell in the Potteries, the forward has enjoyed a prominent rise representing Schalke, PSG and now Bayern.
Choupo-Moting is understood to be happy to move on loan to the Reds and has agreed a switch due to diminished playing time in Bavaria this season following the arrival of Harry Kane. The forward has three goals in 19 this campaign.
Elsewhere, rumoured United target Michael Olise is believed to be wary of a switch to Old Trafford. Crystal Palace's star winger has attracted interest from some of the Premier League's top clubs this winter, including the Reds.
However, according to Football Transfers, Olise's preferred destination is Arsenal. Mikel Arteta's side are embroiled in the title race and the 22-year-old prefers a move to the Emirates Stadium due to them being his boyhood club.
