New Manchester United transfer move for €50m striker might not help Rasmus Hojlund

It seems certain Manchester United will need to add some extra firepower to their attack this summer and they might already have an ideal candidate to do that.

If you head back to Erik ten Hag's first summer in charge of the club, the clues are already there. With a week to go until the first match of the season, United were in the market for at least one further attacking addition, with a preference for two.

The real test would come when he finally joined Leipzig this campaign, though his start to life there hasn't told the full story either.

At the age of just 20, he has struggled for regular playing time behind the more experienced Yussuf Poulsen and the in-form Lois Openda, yet he has still notched a decent goal tally.
