Crash closed busy road in Carmarthenshire in both directions

A crash closed a busy Carmarthenshire road during Friday morning's rush hour.

Two vehicles were reportedly involved in the crash on the A4138 Pontardulais Road, in Hendy. It had shut the road from junction 48 of the M4 to the traffic lights at Llangennech.

The exit slip road westbound at junction 48 was also closed, and First Cymru Buses reported that services in the area were affected by the closure.

Just after 9am. recovery teams cleared the vehicles involved in the crash and the road was re-opened.
