Serious crash closes road in Cwmavon in both directions

Emergency services are at the scene of a serious collision in Cwmavon.

There are reports of a multi-vehicle accident on the B4286.

A statement from South Wales Police Neath Port Talbot said just before 7.30am that the road is closed in both directions between Cwmavon Road and London Row. It added: "The road is expected to remain closed for some time. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible."
