Celtic riff on Brendan Rodgers comeback in epic Christmas video with inside joke over THAT shock exit

Playful Celtic riffed on the blockbuster return of Brendan Rodgers to Parkhead in the club's latest Christmas address.

Punters have been eagerly anticipating the latest video which has proved a smash-hit in recent years with the likes of former skipper Scott Brown becoming a pilot and Gavin Strachan's laptop stealing the show. And now Rodgers has got in on the fun as he signed off on the club having a bit of fun over his return to Parkhead.

Rodgers left supporters miffed by his shock exit to Leicester in 2019 but the Irishman has won back his doubters as he aims to deliver more trophies in Glasgow's east end. And the final scene of the video shows a Celtic superstore employee blowing the dust off his autobiography which tumbled down the best sellers' list when he joined the Foxes. The book was then available at a reduced rate over the summer when Rodgers was locked in talks over his return.

Kyogo earns a starring role as he lights up Christmas trees, provides mince pies to staff and turns Rodgers' tactics board into a Christmas tree with a star to represent the club's European Cup triumph in 1967.

And the likes of Callum McGregor and Women's team captain Kelly Clark welcome Kyogo onto the pitch with other stars for a special huddle as the Japan star uses his newly-found magic powers to switch things up and give everyone a new Christmas knitwear.
