Promotion is already secured - but Folkestone boss Jay Saunders still has targets he wants his side to hit this season.

Invicta were presented with the Isthmian Premier trophy after two-goal Jake Hutchinson and Nathan Paul-Lavaly led them to a 3-2 home derby victory against Ramsgate on Easter Monday, having clinched the title through goals from Hutchinson and captain Kevin Lokko in a comeback 2-1 success at St Albans two days earlier.

It means Saunders can start to prepare for Invicta’s first-ever season at National League South early.

But the manager still has his sights set on his team reaching the 100-point mark - something they can do if they win their final three fixtures of this season - reaching 100 league goals, they’re on 94, and ensuring striker Hutchinson finishes the campaign as the division’s top scorer.

He has 21 league goals, two clear of Brentwood’s Daniel Ogunleye, as it stands.

“It’s been unbelievable,” said Saunders. “When we first came in last season, there were a few hundred and, to see 2,500 here on Monday, I’m pleased we got the win for them.

“I want 100 points, I want 100 goals, so we have edged closer to that. I’d love Jake to finish as top goalscorer so there’s still little targets like that.

“As I’ve said to the boys, we’re not going to come off it. We’re still going to train and we’re still going to do everything properly - and the boys know that.

“Getting the trophy in front of your home fans, we really enjoyed it.

"With the last few promotions I have had, I haven’t really enjoyed it.

“I have enjoyed it - don’t get me wrong - but I have missed out on the changing room celebrations and everything because you’re doing interviews.
