BREAKING: Police descend on Greater Manchester road with area taped off - latest updates
A cordon is in place near a busy Salford street this morning.
An area is currently taped off close to Churchill Way, in Pendleton. The cordon is close to St Paul's Church, at Paddington Close.
Officers are responding to an incident. Police are currently at the scene this morning (August 16).

It is believed they have been in attendance for a number of hours. Further details about the nature of the incident are yet to be confirmed.
Greater Manchester Police has been approached for comment. A reporter is at the scene.
